THE WORK CONTINUES
Three of the Shoebox ladies that meet twice a month to prepare shoeboxes for those in need
The Bethany Shoebox team has continued to work tirelessly throughout the year. 2016 has seen so many more, girls, boys, women and men of all ages and religious persuasions in need of our help. And while we can all give money to the many aid agencies that do such a great job the Shoebox team provide us with direct link to those less fortunate than ourselves by providing a small box of some of the basic necessities of life that we take for granted in the UK. Things that the team hope for a few moments in time make life just a little more bearable.
As important as these small boxes is the knowledge by those that receive them is that Christians many miles from where they are really do care and are thinking and praying for them.
All the usual things are needed and if anyone has any shoeboxes these are urgently required by the team. The team are also preparing childrens boxes for Christmas so any small toy or gift would also be appreciated.
