Drop In
Tuesday morning ‘Drop In’ continues to be a place of welcome for everyone especially those who are feeling lonely and just need to hear a friendly voice see a smile or just have a chat.
There’s also a quiet time for prayer held around 11:00 a.m. in one of the Church vestries for anyone who wants a prayer saying for anyone that is anxious or worried or for a loved one.
‘Drop In’ is open every Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 12:00 a.m., tea, coffee, bacon sandwiches and tea cakes are available for a donation, small or large, we don’t mind.
Every penny of the donations we receive are used to support our outreach in the local community and abroad.
Pop in, you’re sure to receive a warm reception.
Wednesday Friendship Hour
Friendship Hour is a time when everyone from inside or outside of the Church can come together socially, have a chat, learn something new, celebrate and meet to perhaps share a special interest. During the summer months trips to local places, garden centres, restaurants and sometimes local hostelries for a lunch time meal are organised. All aimed at creating a friendly family group of like-minded people.
Friendship Hour is held every other Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Church’s activity room with free tea, coffee, and cake.
Craft and Chat
Wednesday Craft and Chat meets every other week from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. The group are always busy making banners for outside the Church, novelties for local charities and for the shoebox team while having a good old natter and some light refreshments. Everyone is welcome to come and try their hand at all sorts of different things.
