Our faith in the Lord Jesus has carried through quite a few changes in the last few years. And we remain as strong as ever and enjoying the challenges we have had to face.

Our minister Reverend Stephen Jackson was take ill and sadly died. We were blessed with a moderator, Reverend Ron Davis who shepherded us through the next few years taking services and officiating at Deacon’s and Church Member’s meetings. He was a good friend but had a calling to do the lord’s work in Stafford and so relinquished his role at Bethany.

Today we are blessed with the services of Reverend Simon Hollis taking our services once a month and a number of lay preachers. Our own Deacons and Friendship Group step in to bring us the word of God and Our Lord Jesus Christ when asked.

Recently our diaconate has been strengthened by the addition of Church members Deborah Dore and Neil Innes who we trust will agree to become full Deacons when they have experienced what’s involved in this trusted role.

We continue to pray and work towards a shared or part time minister of our own at Bethany with the help of our Regional Minister, Denise Dobie. We know that our fellowship will support us meanwhile we have to remain patient and wait for God’s hand to touch the right person for ministry in Chadsmoor.
