Jacky an active member of the fellowship at Bethany has been awarded the MBE in the King’s New Year Honours List for services to the community in Cannock and her tireless work over 40 years at the area’s community advice centre.
Most people know Jacky and how committed she is to helping the people of Cannock Chase and surrounding areas. Everyone is so pleased that all her hard work at Cannock Chase Advice Centre has been recognised with this award.
Modest as ever Jacky said “I’m part of a team and always have been. This award is for the whole team”.
Although she says she retired four years ago as manager she still volunteers twice a week and will we know still be volunteering for many years to come.
