Chadsmoor defibrillator a reality
Shopkeepers, Churches and Community Organisations dream of having a defibrillator in the village to provide emergency help for anyone who is in cardiac arrest is no longer a dream.
By using a defibrillator before an ambulance arrives, someone’s chance of survival can be significantly increased.
The defibrillator has been installed and fully operational in a central location on the front of Bethany Baptist Church on the corner of Arthur Street and Cannock Road.
Instructions on ‘what to do’ are provided on the cabinet and once the defibrillator is accessed. An additional defibrillator for the other end of the village shopping area is being planned to provide the minimum delay in providing emergency help.
