Jan and Geoff’s Garden Party

Well the weather didn’t do us any favours as it rained nearly all afternoon. A few of us still managed to get out into the garden and admire Geoff’s handiwork – the new kitchen extension which he promised would be completed by Christmas as he had another project in mind. We all did have a lovely afternoon together despite the weather with posh sandwiches, cake non alcoholic punch, tea and coffee which we always get at Jans. It was lovely to see the grandchildren who are all growing up so quickly and who kept some of us amused all afternoon.
